Instagram is one of my favorite platforms! There’s really no better way to show people who you are and what you love to do. I think it's always a work in process. That's because my feed is really important to me. I want it to be like a sort of gallery with pictures of my outfits to inspire others with.
The way I edit my pictures has changed a lot these couple of months. I always had a minimal feed but that's not what I want to do anymore. I love the cities and the atmosphere of it and I want to create that in my theme as well. It was a long process but I finally know what I want to show you guys and what kind of pictures I want to upload.
I think the most important tip that I can give you guys is just do what you love. Don't be too hard on yourself because I think in the end it won't work out. Wel... That's how I experienced it. I notice that my Instagram friends had the same struggle and I can understand why. For me, it's just so much easier now because I know what I want to create. People will notice it as well when you upload something you're really happy about it.
Hope I helped you guys out a little or inspired you in some way. Let me know!

Blogging and making videos changed the way I use Instagram a lot! Normally I would take a picture and post it whenever I wanted to. But know I have to think about my feed and how it looks with the other pictures I posted. Photography is something I really love to do. I want my feed to be a small gallery of beautiful minimalistic pictures. But how do you create a minimal feed and edit your pictures?
After I took a picture I upload it to my phone and then the editing begins. The app I use first is called Squaregram. I use a white border around my pictures to create a little bit more space in my feed. This app is perfect for white borders! I also edit my pictures with Squaregram. I use the editing tool and only adjust a little bit more brightness, contract, highlights and shadows. I depends on the picture how much brightness I adjust. Some pictures are dark and some of them already have good lighting. I also love to use the saturation and warmth tool. When you lower the saturation you will lower the amount of color in your picture. Most of the time when I edit an outfit picture I'll add some warmth. That's because my skin will get a little bit more color after I used the saturation tool. Just take a good look at your picture and then decide how much you'll adjust. The last tool I use on my pictures is the whitening tool. Especially with flatlay pictures to add a little bit more whiteness. It makes the picture look fresh and minimalistic!
After I edited my picture I upload it to VSCO. You can upload your whole feed to the VSCO app to see how it looks before you actually upload it to Instagram. Just a small tip for you guys!

Hi loves! Today’s post is about a photo album I made a couple weeks ago. I wanted to capture all my happy and successful moments of my blog/youtube journey. This journey is really special to me and I want to thank you for all the great support. I saw an advertisement from SAAL DIGITAL with an amazing offer. So I decided to download their software and design my own photo album. If you are looking for a software and webshop for making high quality photo albums, keep on reading…
Let’s talk about the quality first; I think they make super high quality albums. They have endless options when it comes to designing a photo album. I chose a hard black leather cover for my album but you can also choose a matte cover, brown leather cover and glossy cover. You can not only choose hard covers but also soft and plain covers. The quality of the cover is great, really chic and you can feel the quality of the (faux) leather. I chose a matte finish for the pages. I love matte… The pages are thick and the photo’s turned out amazing.
When it comes to designing you can choose the easy way with templates or design the album yourself. I chose for a simple template because I wanted one picture at one page, a little bit minimalistic. My Instagram pictures are squares (obviously) so I thought a squared photo album would match good with the pictures.
SAAL DIGITAL makes other photoproducts as well. For example they make; posters, cards, calendars, photo presents and wall decoration. Great for a personal gift!
I'm so happy I made this photo album for myself. It's awesome to look back at all your blog pictures and see how much you achieved... Let me know if you made your own photo album. Love to check it out!
Flat lay pictures are really trendy these days. You see them on almost every Instagram page. I enjoy making these kind of pictures and it makes your feed look super creative. But how do you make those flat lay pictures on your own? I have some great tips for you to help you out with this!
Tip 1: Get inspired by other flat lay Instagrammers or search on Pinterest. Look at the layout and how they placed the products. Try to do the same but in your own way!
Tip 2: Use different backdrops. I love to use a white backdrop for my flat lays but you can try marble, wooden or metal backdrops as well. Just look at the products you are showing and choose a backdrop that suits your products.
Tip 3: Create a theme, it's important to stick with a certain theme. I love to keep it simple and clean (minimalistic). Sometimes it's a good idea to give your flat lay some room to breath.
Tip 4: Think about the lighting in the photo. I think daylight is your best friend with pictures like this! You can still edit your pictures on Photoshop or certain apps.
Tip 5: Make a lot of pictures of the same flay lay! If you shoot multiple pictures you can choose the best one. Some of them are maybe shaky or not fully focused. It's also good to shoot from different angles!
Enjoy making the perfect flat lay! Let me know if these tips helped you out.
